Mindfulness SoulBox


Mindfulness, the practice of living in the present moment, helps us connect our body, mind and soul, creating an inner silence and feeling of peace. It is this silence that is healing and nourishing, so we can find true joy and happiness.  

Let your journey begin with this exercise. Make sure you have plenty of time and are in a comfortable space. Turn off any devices that may take your attention. 

  1. Mindful breathing is the first step to living a more mindful life. Sit or lie comfortably and focus on your breath. Breathe deeply, Open or close your eyes. Concentrate on your breath, how it enters and exits your body. Pay attention to your stomach, how it rises and falls which each breathing cycle. 
  2. Awareness: Become aware of your body, how you are feeling. Where do you feel tension, if any at all? Or are you starting to feel relaxed and calm? Awaken your senses. What can you hear or smell? Does the air have a taste? How does your skin feel? Take your time, and be in the moment for as long as you wish. 
  3. Release tension: Now breathe through the areas of tension you have identified and release the tensionLet it slowly fall away and be replaced with a feeling of calm. Feel yourself relax fully. Stay in this moment for as long as it feels right. 
  4. Use an item from this SoulBox to repeat the exercise as often as you want.
