Love is that which connects us all. Practising loving meditation is a way of sending love to others. Loving meditation practise is one way you can contribute to making the world a more loving place, by setting the intention of lovingness and sending it out to others.
Sit in a quiet place. Arrange the rose quartz, talisman and candle. Light the candle. Close your eyes and breath in and out deeply three times.
Bring your attention to your heart, and listen to how it beats. Keep focus there for a couple of minutes, just connecting to your own life force. Move your attention to your feet, feel connection to Papatuanuku, mother earth, all loving.
Imagine her loving energy coming from the earth, through your feet and up to your heart, combining with your life force to strengthen it with love. Move your awareness to your crown chakra, on top of your head. Visualise divine light pouring into your through your crown chakra down to your heart, combining with the energy of Papatuanuku and your own life force.
See the colours and light as this trilogy of loving energy surges through your body. As it sends waves of love throughout your body, send it out to your family, then to your friends, your colleagues, and to all people in the world. Once you have done this, come back to the rhythm of your own heartbeat, close your crown chakra, thank Papatuanuku and slowly open your eyes to return in loving energy to your day.
